Pub Crawls!

London is very famous for its pubs - there is practically one on every street corner! Churchill declared that if a street was on fire in London due to a bombing raid in World War 2 and there was a pub on that street, then the pub had to be the first building on the street to be saved because without the pub the community would lose morale.

We have a long standing tradition in this country for consuming alcohol (!) so join me on a pub crawl in London. We will visit 5/6 pubs along the way, many of which have an interesting history and unique atmosphere. These are fun evenings and suitable for office parties, special celebrations or a social function for friends and families.

There are quirky stories, puzzles and quizzes along the way plus drinking for those who wish to imbibe!

There are 3 tours available:

• The Old Southwark Pub Crawl. Perhaps you want to visit the area on the south bank of the Thames known in Elizabethan times as "The Stew" and enjoy a few drinks along the way in some of London's most historic pubs. Listen to terrible tales of murders and cruelty as we pass "The Clink", The Golden Hind, Southwark Cathedral and London Bridge. You'll need a drink to calm the nerves!
• The City Pub Crawl. This tour will take you to six very different pubs, including an ornate former Bank of England office, an art nouveau masterpiece and a Tudor inn. Wander through medieval alleyways as we make our way through the old city with it’s ever changing history.  Listen to tales of hangings, hauntings and horseplay and enjoy a drink in between!
• Theatre Land Pub Crawl. This tour begins in Holborn and finishes in Covent Garden. We will visit pubs frequented by lawyers, actors, revellers and theatregoers as we wind our way through historic and haunted Lincoln’s Inn Field through to Theatre Land hearing tales of Nell Gwynn, bare knuckle fighting, an actor’s murder and the theatrical haunting which followed!
