The walking tour along the South bank of the Thames was wonderful, delving into London’s pickled history and tickling the dark underbelly of its less glorious moments. London’s beautiful skyline and the magnificent views were brought to life by Gary’s energetic and knowledgeable narrative. From Westminster to Borough market, Kings to conspirators, Pestilence to wobbly bridges, there was intrigue, lost love, shock, horror and laughing so hard it brought tears on. The tour was brilliant from start to finish and is thoroughly recommended for everybody, resident to tourist. Now if they’d only bring back the heads of traitors on London Bridge….
